Soul strengthening: The eyes are the key to the soul, or the bars to the prison. Take heed how you use them.
This is a misread, or a mistranslation, in my view.
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Notice that Jesus made no eye contact with them. Why? Why did he make no eye contact? Because this would have empowered their head and flesh, force fields up, blocking their soul.
Everything he did in this story avoided blocking their soul, kept their soul online. And the Soul could not Stone this woman. And the Soul could not tolerate the hypocrisy in each individual.
When two people with souls in charge are in dialogue I contact feeds the sole of the other other and the soul of the looker.
But when the souls are not in charge in both individuals, eye contact arms the Head and the flesh.
With an unknown canine, and unknown dog, it is unwise to make eye contact with that dog, likewise with a bear as I understand it. It is experienced as a challenge, Shields up.
But as Jesus masterfully displayed, in a potential or actual conflict situation, if someone of the Soul avoids making eye contact, there's a very strong probability that the head and flesh of the attacker may be confused, and in being confused they lose power, and their soul can come to the fore.
However he understood it, Gandhi was a master of this.
And today, so was james. It's a paradigm shift. And today James made that shift. And it's quite possible that it will stay with him now.
