Have you ever seen a spirit in a young child so healthy that you could only consider it divine, sacred?
HHave you ever seen a spirit in a critter that was just awe-inspiring, sacred, divine?
Of what profit is to a person to gain the whole world and lose their own soul? This is what Jesus was talking about.
And the scribes and the Pharisees had it destroyed in them, and knew only to destroy it in others. And so it is with capitalism that turns that Spirit into stuff, into monetary things. At the hands of the parents who have first had it done to them.
AAnd Paul's creation, christianity, Paul being a Pharisee of Pharisees, of course picked right up where the other scribes and Pharisees left off.
