Disciple James log: Praying does not come naturally to james. He needs to fix that I think.

All hope for goodness, for joy and life, is in a higher power. Not some sentient sky god, but the highest potentialities within us. And james, the one writing here, needs to spend more time doing that, praying, as possibly a necessary way of invoking that within himself which he can't control, his humanity, his decency, his goodness, his courage, his spirit that is holy, which he can't control, but to a substantial degree he can appeal to and thereby evoke it. This needs to be explored by him further.

More specifically praying for the holy spirit, for his humanity, for his goodness, for Creator to be in charge within him, for Jesus to be present with him.
