Civil wars divide families, groups, communities.
Disciples are the special forces in the unviolent war against empire.
And it is a civil war.
The disciples are waging more as much on the side of those opposing them, as on those fighting alongside them.
But those who oppose them, including family members, experience them as a mortal threat.
